I make no health claims whatsoever about any product listed here. Nothing listed here will cure or heal cancer or any other condition. Fenbendazole is a veterinary medication and is not for human consumption. I list the products, including brand names where applicable, because that is what I took — not because I recommend that you use them. Background

The Joe Tippens Protocol

I want to tell you a little bit about Joe Tippens — the man whose story of using fenbendazole, a common dog dewormer, for cancer put this protocol on the map for thousands of people around the world.

Who Is Joe Tippens?

A Man Given Months to Live

In 2016, Joe Tippens was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer that had spread throughout his entire body — his neck, stomach, bladder, pancreas, and bones. His oncologist gave him three months to live.

While enrolled in a clinical trial, Joe was also quietly trying something else: fenbendazole, a common antiparasitic medication used in veterinary medicine. He had heard about it through a scientist who had been studying it. He combined it with a handful of supplements and took it every day.

Three months later, his scans showed no evidence of cancer. His oncologist was stunned. Joe documented everything on his blog — My Cancer Story Rocks — and the story spread around the world.

The Original Protocol

What Joe Tippens Actually Took

Fenbendazole

222 mg daily, originally on a 3-days-on / 4-days-off schedule. Joe has since updated his recommendation to 7 days a week.

Vitamin E Succinate

400–800 IU daily. Specifically the succinate form — not standard tocopherol.

Curcumin

600 mg daily of a bioavailable form. Standard curcumin has poor absorption — the form matters.

CBD Oil

25 mg daily of full-spectrum CBD oil. Joe used this throughout his protocol.

How Joe's Protocol Evolved Over Time

Joe's protocol has changed over the years. Here is what I understand about each version — with the honest caveat that I cannot verify every detail of the transitions between them.

Protocol 1 — The Original (Joe's Own)

This is the protocol Joe Tippens himself used when he was given three months to live with small cell lung cancer in 2016. It consisted of four core items taken daily: fenbendazole (222mg, three days on / four days off), Vitamin E succinate (400–800 IU daily), curcumin (600mg daily), and CBD oil (25mg daily). Joe documented his remarkable remission on his blog "My Cancer Story Rocks" and this original four-supplement combination is what spread worldwide and inspired countless others — including me.

Protocol 2 — The Updated Protocol

At some point Joe updated his protocol in a couple of notable ways. He dropped Vitamin E from his recommendations, and he changed the fenbendazole dosing schedule to 7 days a week with no days off, moving away from the original 3-days-on / 4-days-off cycle. I honestly cannot recall every detail of how Protocol 1 and Protocol 2 differed beyond those two changes — I do not want to state something as fact that I am not certain of. If you want the most accurate account of what Joe recommended during this period, I encourage you to search his blog archives or community discussions for his own words.

Protocol 3 — Onco-Adjunct

This is Joe's most recent protocol, which incorporates a product line called Onco-Adjunct, made by a company called Ultra Botanica. To be clear, Joe is not in partnership with this company and receives no money from them. These are simply products that Joe researched and concluded were good additions to the fenbendazole protocol. Joe began recommending Ultra Botanica products just before I reached remission, so I have no personal experience with these products. If you are researching this version, I encourage you to search Joe's blog and community discussions for his most current recommendations.

I am not affiliated with any of these products or companies. I share this information only to help you understand the evolution of Joe's protocol over time.

Why It Spread

A Story That Couldn't Be Ignored

Joe's story went viral — particularly in South Korea, where thousands of cancer patients began trying fenbendazole after his blog was translated and shared widely. Research interest followed, with several studies examining fenbendazole's potential anti-cancer mechanisms.

What made Joe's account compelling wasn't just the outcome — it was his honesty. He wasn't selling anything. He shared everything openly, including his skepticism about whether it was the fenbendazole, the clinical trial, or something else entirely that led to his recovery.

That honesty is what led me to take his story seriously — and eventually to try a modified version of his protocol myself.
